Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

By using the Podium website or the Podium application, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Podium provides salon, spa and barbershop management software — including bookings, point of sale, inventory, staff commissions, client records and reporting — as a subscription service.

3. Your subscription

• Plans, pricing and limits are as shown on our pricing page
• Subscriptions bill monthly or annually in advance, in Kenyan Shillings
• Annual plans include the advertised free month
• You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel — changes apply from the next billing cycle

4. Your responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials secure
• Use the service lawfully and only for your own business
• Don't attempt to access other tenants' data or disrupt the service
• You're responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for your client relationships

5. Your data

Your business data belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details, and our Data Deletion page for how export and deletion work.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is scheduled to minimise disruption. Report issues via Support.

7. Intellectual property

Podium's software, design and content belong to Podium. Your business data, client records and content remain yours.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Podium's total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from data you failed to back up (exports are available at any time).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or remain unpaid after notice. On termination at your request, we assist with a full data export before closing the account.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the courts of Kenya.
